| Program Description: | The Gifted Endorsement is an 18-credit hour graduate endorsement designed to prepare educators with the knowledge base and competencies necessary for the appropriate education of gifted and talented learners. These 18 credit hours are necessary for the Nebraska Supplementary Endorsement in Gifted Education. Students pursuing certification in other states must check with their State Department of Education for certification requirements. The 18 credit hours may be applied to the Master of Arts in Education in Special Education - Gifted Education degree. Courses are offered online, video on demand, or CDs. UNK offers affordable tuition to out-of-state online students. For 2008-09, non-resident graduate online tuition is $281.50 per credit hour; resident graduate tuition is $180.25 per credit hour (fees are additional). |
