Online Teaching (Post-Doc. Cert.)

Walden offers one of the nation's only post-doctoral online certificate programs in psychology, providing doctoral graduates the opportunity to further their knowledge in their chosen area or focus on a new area of interest.

This specialization combines the theory behind online learning, including principles of instructional design, with practical teaching strategies and best practices for teaching a diverse student body in an online environment. Actual experience in teaching an online course provides the capstone of the certificate program. Graduates will be prepared to teach online at the university level or work with an online learning organization.
